LED Products
Multilite has done extensive research on LED products over the past three years , sourcing various products both locally and abroad.
Whilst we understand the Importance of going Green we too know through actual physical testing and test mock ups That LED products certainly have their place in the market in certain to many applications , but there is till a large sector where alternative lighting technology is currently more suitable.
Led products that we utilize and or specify are “ Specifically Selected “ based on performance criteria and The Original source of Manufacture whose structure and ethics fits our Business model.
Osram , Philips , Edison and Cree chipsets are specifically selected and housed in Luminaires that suite our design criteria.
Ceramics and Custom
Multilite specializes in developing home grown products, customized to meet a company’s specific needs.
We like to refer to “Brandertising” by developing products that create corporate identity while ensuring that originality and authenticity remain key.
Customised fittings offer Multilite an opportunity to showcase our creative ability and our ingenuity in sourcing either producers, manufacturers or talented artisans. Often in searches for these artisans, local crafters or artists are “discovered” and it is most rewarding to provide a platform for these individuals to use their talents to assist in producing specialized fittings.
While other endeavors have included using wrought iron work and beading, Multilite’s most recent creations have been in ceramics. A number of “potters” were found and these local craftsmen hand-turn ceramic designs on a wheel, to client specifications.
From this initiative, Multilite has just created our latest “African“ range of custom ceramics. These include matching wall and table lamps as well as feature hanging pendants. These can be used individually or as sets to create that true “African Experience”. However, any theme can be created.
Each Item is unique as being hand-made and then custom hand painted, there are no two items that are exactly the same.
The light source used in these products then brings them alive and accentuates their true naturalness and beauty.
As alluded to above, we are proud to support our community by using local talent.
Commercial and General
In contrast to our customized ranges, our “base-line” business remains in commercial specifications and we are able to supply from the most common fittings to emergency fittings, at all times ensuring that health and safety regulations are adhered to. Years of experience have ensured that even the most challenging projects can be designed and supplied, seamlessly
